Part one of this series on Worksheet Motion Problems demonstrated the fact that there are at least two issues with Worksheet Motion Problems and they are dependent upon the data inputted in the first instance. You can see my answer key for the second question and my answer key for the first question here.

By my first question, I mean the data entered. It is also the problem I had with the Worksheet Motion Problem when it came to testing the feature of Worksheet Additions. I started testing the feature, but after I started looking at the random chart the “Add” button appeared as blank on the screen.

The point I am trying to make is that data should be viewed to work properly. For me, that is a problem I believe Worksheet Motion has.

So, what happens when you have a new Worksheet? The same thing that happens when you create a new Worksheet object. The same series of events are performed but the results do not match. You see, there is a difference between the object you created a Worksheet and the Worksheet itself.

Here is the thing that happens when you create anew Worksheet with a value as input to the constructor, the constructor will continue running and your user will enter data. When you then select that Worksheet and use the “Select” button, the value will still be used because it is contained within the same Worksheet object.

Now, let us talk about the Worksheet object itself. When you first create a Worksheet, it will have the same “owner” that you used in creating the other Worksheets. That is how the “Select” button works for a new Worksheet.
