We already found the last Circles Worksheet on Day 1 – how did it do? Well, after all of our hard work, not so well. I gave a huge portion of the group a slip and they were confused about what it meant. They did not know whether they did well, but did they have any idea what this workbook actually entailed?

Well, thankfully I only have three more days to do all of the Circles Worksheets. Today I am going to explain to you what those next two charts represent. It will take quite a bit of explanation to get all of these diagrams out.
The first chart in the Circles Workbook is a construction chart. This chart represents each circle from A to D. It takes each circle and puts them in a different task that is related to it. You can see that they are arranged in one by one order.

You will notice that these small circles are labeled with the task that they are required to complete. So, let’s say you will find a pencil inside of a box and you can stick a hole through it. In the set of circles that represent this task, you can see that they are numbered from A to G. You can also see that they are grouped together.
Let’s say you are trying to use your hands to make the hole stick out through the box. In the Circles Workbook you will see that you will only need to stick the pencil through the hole. In this example, you would use the second circle in the right hand column. The pencil is actually placed at the second row, as if you are placing the box on top of the second box.

If you are a bit more creative than sticking a pencil through the hole, you can also use your hand to create the same results. In this example, you will use the left-hand column for your hands to get the pencil through the hole. You can either make your hands look like a bunch of crayons or use your thumb and forefinger to move the pencil around.
These diagrams are important in helping you to understand the different Circles Sheet Worksheets. Each circle has a different task associated with it. You can think of these as the different shapes that make up an object.
