In previous articles we’ve discussed the uses of Midpoint and Distance Formula Worksheets for teaching students in K-12 education. In particular, we looked at how they can help prepare students for various essay-based tests, such as the MBE or ACT. The following article is a review of a different but equally important part of worksheets, namely the choice of answer choices. Here’s what I have to say about that.

One of the fundamental elements of any worksheet is the choice of answer choices. This is an especially important feature for teachers teaching younger children who may not be familiar with the typical choices used in standard test situations. In many ways, this worksheet is a mini-test because it forces the student to choose an answer from a variety of possible answers. With this in mind, the question is not which answer is correct; rather, which answer is the “right” answer depending on the beliefs of the student.

In a typical school test, there are usually a couple of choices. Sometimes more than one. At a typical time, the class will vote, with the teacher leading the discussion and the students following behind. It is after this that the test will conclude. In a multi-choice test, however, the student may have to choose more than one answer. That’s when the difficulties begin.

A typical formula for Midpoint and Distance Formula Worksheet with Answers includes some standard formula for addition and subtraction. For instance, the first column of the worksheet contains the name of the subject (plus), or target area (subtract) and then the word “plus” or the word “subtract” (after the equals sign). Then there are five choices in each range. The choice in the range above “minus” may not be presented if the student has chosen the wrong answer. In this case, he can simply continue his choices beyond this point.

When the student reaches this point, he must sort out his answers out and choose the correct answers. His choices need to be logical and based on the lesson that he is completing. Some examples include, if the student has chosen the word “subtract” and he has written an essay about a car, the student should sort it out like this: Subtract cars from sales and then add cars to gross. An essay question, on the other hand, will not require any sort of logic, so the student needs to be consistent in his choices. Some examples include, if the student chooses the word “subtract” and he writes an essay about space flight, he should choose the word “orbit” and then “space flight.”

As previously mentioned, the answer choices for the Midpoint and Distance Formula worksheet are very easy to read. The labels for each answer option, like” TRUE,” ” FALSE,” and “INVADED” are clear and easy to see. For some problems, the student may need to look up an answer. If this happens, he should be able to easily find it on the worksheet. This is important because he does not want to answer incorrectly just because he did not read the instructions properly.

As the student progresses through the program, he may begin to feel overwhelmed with the choices and need a break. He can take a break by sorting the answer choices on the left side of the sheet. When he wants to make a choice, he can simply pick it off the list. However, he cannot erase his choices until the next time he goes to write an essay.
