The Lorax by Dr. Seuss is a book that has been on my shelf for several years. I always loved the books that he created and would go to the library to buy them. Recently, when I heard that the book was to receive an award at a children’s book convention, I picked it up. The book is actually very educational and I enjoyed it very much. After enjoying the book, I decided to write a review of it.

The Lorax by Dr. Seuss Worksheet is a very enjoyable book for a child to read. The book is filled with funny illustrations, and even some illustrations of dogs. The main character, the moral, can be seen in the center of the page in a funny outfit, giving the reader a great image of what the lorax is like. The book not only lists the main characters of the story, it also includes a worksheet of different activities related to each character that the reader can complete.
Throughout the book, there are several worksheets that are related to the different activities that the lorax is engaged in. In the first worksheets, each activity is described in a cute little way, so that the kids can get a close look at what they are doing. In the third worksheets, the lorax shows up in a bigger size, causing the kids to laugh and making them want to do all of the activities that they mentioned in the previous worksheets. Another activity is called The Great Orgy. This activity consists of the main character, a pig, chasing after puppies, which are accompanied by the sound of “bbb! bbb!” The children mimic the sound of a real dog, and this activity helps them understand that dogs like to play with small animals, like pigs. Another activity that goes along with The Lorax is the characters’ squealing. After each activity, the children get a reward, like a t-shirt or a set of coloring pages, as well as a thank you card from the publisher.
