Antibody and Cellular Immunity Worksheet Answers

In order for your body to have the right defense mechanism against disease, the body must have a proper antibody and Cellular immunity. Antibodies are needed by the body’s cells to protect them from foreign bodies, fungi, and bacteria. When the immunity decreases, it allows for an increase of the pathogens. This is why there are high incidences of colds, flu and other infections that are always around.

Antibodies are produced when the body is threatened by pathogenic organisms such as viruses and bacteria. Some of the different types of these antibodies are known as class A, B, C, D, E, and F. Class A is the most common type of antibody and has high levels of activity when the organism is introduced to the body. The body’s immune system recognizes that the foreign organism is a danger and produces the antibody. C and D type antibodies are produced by the body in response to a specific threat. E and F type antibodies are secreted by the white blood cells and antibodies for protection from foreign toxins and bacteria.

Antibodies also affect cells at the level of the membrane. The membrane is responsible for transporting information throughout the cell and also for communication between cells. When there is an imbalance in the antibodies that are secreted, the cells become confused and lose their ability to communicate with each other. This is known as a neutrophilic effect. Neutrophobic effect can be caused by many factors including the use of some drugs and radiation exposure.

Antibody is required by the human body for immunity. It acts as a filter to collect important substances such as the white blood cells, platelets and monocytes. There are also antibodies that attack cancer cells. It also helps to protect normal cells from invasion by viruses and bacteria. Some diseases however, interfere with this function.

There are also some autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus that cause the body’s immune functions to be out of balance. When the immunity system is unable to fight the disease it causes inflammation which can damage the cells. This can result to diseases such as heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke. Autoimmune diseases occur when the cells in the body are attacked by the cells of the body itself. These cells include white blood cells and T-cells.

Antibodies are substances that bind with a specific cell and destroy it when it is infected. They also steal the specific DNA from the cell. Antibodies function as a filter that kills invading organisms and allows the healthy cells to remain undamaged. They also transport waste materials away from the body to keep them from being absorbed by the other cells.

T-cells are another type of cell that works as an antigen. They attack the enemy organisms when they invade the body by producing a chemical that produces a chemical response in the invading cells. Different types of T-cell are produced by the human body depending on its needs. They also transport waste products away from the body.

There are also white blood cells called monocytes. Monocytes work as a regulator of the immune system. They control the spread of infection by fighting against different types of bacteria and viruses in the body. Antigens, or a molecule that triggers an immunity response, triggers the production of white blood cells to fight infections and diseases.

Lastly there are different types of antibodies. These antibodies bind to cell walls to trigger the release of chemicals to kill invading microorganisms. Different types of antibodies exist and include interferon, neutrophil elastase, interleukin, and an antibody directed virus therapy.

Cell phones do affect our health. In fact, cell phones have more toxins than any other source. One study estimates that cell phones have over five thousand chemicals in their composition. Many of these chemicals can pollute our bodies and interfere with our natural immune systems. This may explain why people with suppressed immunity have higher incidences of sickness and disease.

It’s important to note that cell phones do not cause sickness. They only cause potential sickness when we use them without their proper care and maintenance. Try to avoid cell phone usage when you are sick. Try taking a walk, or doing simple exercises instead of spending all day on the phone. Your body will thank you.
